Laura E. Owen
Highly experienced corporate executive and founder of several companies.
She launched PontSalus, LLC, a telemedicine company that delivers medical consultations to underserved markets in the U.S., in addition to pier-to-pier consultations around the world, to facilitate access to leading U.S. specialists. Laura served as Interim CEO of Check-6 International, in Houston, Texas, where she successfully completed a tactical turn-around of the company. Prior to this, Laura led a consulting company that advised international Ministries of Health, supporting the transformation of their healthcare systems by facilitating partnerships with best-in-class leaders in U.S. healthcare.
Daniel E. Schwarz
Senior wireless and Network Engineer and Program Manager, TribalCo LLC
Daniel Schwarz is the Lead Engineer for TribalCo LLC. a global information technology, communications, and Logistics Company headquartered in Bethesda Md.. As Senior Engineer Mr. Schwarz provides direction and course as well as design skills for the Networking & Wireless System Division, Mr. Schwarz previously managed the Honolulu Board of Water Supply wireless program for the division of CACI from design to implement, Maintain and lifecycle replace devices.
Ed Hackney
Senior Executive in the asset management industry
Ed Hackney is a senior executive in the asset management industry for over 38 years. He has been the Head of Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations for three different money management firms during his career. He recently retired from an active sales career and currently serves on the board of two different Holding Companies as well as currently serves as trustee for two other Foundations. He attends Scottsdale Bible Church where he also teaches an adult Sunday School class. His greatest accomplishment has been the honor of serving as a Dad to his three children and as a grandparent to his four grandkids. Ed had the privilege of being married for over 44 years to Carol, his high school sweetheart, before losing her in March of 2020 to an aneurism. His experience as a trustee and in sales leadership has proven beneficial to other charities over the years.
Maria Sumnicht
Urban Technology Architect for the City of New York
Maria has over 25 years of global marketing and engineering development experience in the networking industry. Besides her extensive IoT, computer networking, and marketing background, Maria also has a comprehensive knowledge of web application development, product lifecycle management, system administration, database application development, secure communications development, and project management.
Bryan Nation
Project Engineer
Bryan Nation is a project engineer/construction foreman/information technology advisor who works with Halcyon Construction to help run day to day commercial construction operations, monitor quality control and integrate technology with construction processes. Bryan is the former Telematics Director for Banner Health who developed their Telemedicine program and as well as innovative clinical services across their organization. He is very committed to improving patient care, integration of operational processes with technology, efficient time management and cost savings in daily operations.
